Ladybirds Staff

Carol Childs - Pre School Manager

Carol is NVQ 4 Qualified in Early years and playwork; and has a foundation degree in early childhood studies, she has 3 of her own children and over 22 years experience in Early Years and Education. She has been appointed by KCC as Leading Early Years Practitioner - contributing towards research projects, and providing support to other settings by sharing her good practice. Carol is responsible for the day to day management of the setting and is the pre-school safeguarding officer.

Sarah Maguire - Deputy Pre-School Manager

Sarah is NVQ3 qualified in Early years and education and has worked at Ladybirds for 10 years; she has 2 children of her own. Sarah is Behaviour Management and Health and Safety coordinator. Sarah is the setting SENCO and has attended numerous training courses she is highly experienced in Early years.

Madeline Howling - Senior Pre-School Assistant

Madeline joined Ladybirds in September 2012. She is a qualified teaching assistant and has her NVQ 3 in  Early Years and Education. Madeline has 2 children of her own and has attended many training courses.

Charlotte Flockhart - Pre-School Assistant

Charlotte has worked at Ladybirds since January 2015. She has completed her Level 2 in Early Years and Education.

Kate Bristow  - Pre-School Assistant

Kate joined Ladybirds in 2019. She has her Level 3 in  Early Years and Education.

Polly Starr - Pre-School Assistant

Polly joined Ladybirds in 2021. She has a Level 3 in Early Years and Education.

Amy Dring - Pre-School Assistant

Amy joined Ladybirds in 2015. She has a Level 3 NVQ in Early Years and Education and has attended many courses.

Alysha Chatfield - Pre-School Assistant

Alisha joined Ladybirds in April 2017. Alisha is working towards her level 3 qualification in Early Years and Education.

Lucy Starr - Pre-School Assistant

Lucy joined Ladybirds in January 2019 and has 2 children of her own. Lucy has also got an NVQ in early years and education.
